Not that I would turn down a present from my husband but I will just be happy to spend time with family and some alone time with him. We just got back from Vegas so I don't think I have to worry about getting a present haha!

We don't celebrate VDay. It's too commericalized and my husband doesn't like how manipulative the day, the commercerials, and everything is, so he says he tries to celebrate everyday of the year as VDay. The one day we don't celebrate Vday is on VDay! I'm exagerating a bit, because we don't truly celebrate every day but the the concept is to try and make everyday as special as that day is suppose to be. It's a funny thing, but it works well for both of us.

Valentines is so screwed up over here!!!
Only the girls give something to the guy they like (like a home-made cake), and the guy is supposed to give them something back next month on the same day!! (March 14th)
I saw a "documentary" or something to that on TV, when a girl gave a home-made cake to a guy she liked, and almost as soon as she turned around, he passed it to his buddy!! (she caught him do it, and the %^&#& really flew!!)
Anyway, I gotta watch chocolate cause I think it affects my compexion (and fitting into my jeans), and the wife, nor MIL, needs any sweets, either! (The MIL gets into anything sweet, despite her diabetes!)
Oh well, at least I don't have to put up with the company trips on Valentines Day, anymore!! The co. Prez. would always schedule the trips ON, or around VAL's Day! Never got anything from the Ex during that time, so I'm used to the Valentines Day nuance, here.
Well, like Kelly (MyNewfy), everyday's like Valentines with my wife, anyway!!

I am very fortunate to have Valentines Day all year long (sappy I know, but true). Tho I dont want or expect anything from hubby. I know he will get Jazz & I something. We always exchange cards, but that is all I need. It is too commercialized & I want my husbands love (and vice versa) to not be bunched together with everyone elses.
