I don't have an exhaust fan in my bathroom <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> I just leave the window open...I hope that works!!!! I'd put one in but its a rental and I am not wasting my money since I don't plan on being there very long.

Be sure to keep the cover clean also otherwise the exhaust fan cant work probably. You would be surprised how quickly it gets dirty.

Lauren, thank you so much. It must be the waterless vaporizer that she was referring to. When the air is cold and dry I like to cook soup from scratch to add moisture to the air. Yum. I live in an apartment so the air does get dry from overheating.

This is odd but I can tell how much moisture is in the air by how much static my fine, thin hair has. If I see static it is time to add moisture, usually late Nov/early Dec. Once I no longer get static-y hair I stop using a humidifier for the season-usually Feb/March. Hee hee. I know, I could buy a humidity monitor but why do that when I've got this hair? Amelia has my hair so now I can monitor the air in our apartment by checking her static status too. Hmm, hope there is a hair gel on the market for babies. Along with "No More Tangles" we need "No More Static".
