Vertigo....

Ok, well I've been having dizzy spells, like horribly bad!!!

I feel like I've just gotten off a merry-go-round that was going super fast, it's a weird sensation, almost like being drunk. But it only lasts for a few seconds.
It scares me to drive! But it ususally happens when I'm in front of the computer (well I spend a lot of time there...not sure if that in any indication).

I went to the chiropractor (my back was way out of whack) and he is concerned with it. He took my temp & checked my ears for anything obvious but found nothing. I go back on Thurs. for another crack from him.

Does anyone get this? I have not changed meds or routines, etc. It happens several times a day (probably 4-8 times).

It kind of scares me and I don't know what to do, perhaps see an ENT or something?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kelli

how are your O2 levels?

Did you get new glasses?

do your ears seemed plugged?

Are you currently on any iv's, or had just gotten off them? (maybe they have an after-effect?)

Other than if those dizzy spells are after you are thinking of your hubby, I can't think of anything else...I had dizzy spells a few times that went away, I think it was either caused by stress or a lack of sleep.

hope you get your answers!

You might want to go to a ear nose and throat doctor, one that specializes in CF would even be more helpful.

I had vertigo really bad last year, and the ENT doctor had me do some exercises every day. I have no brain and forgot why I had it, something to do with inner ear? And also some type of jell that is in your head, ear and it was out of whack.

At least that is what I recall.

Some of the IV drugs can affect your inner ear which controls balance and can cause vertigo. I would consult an ENT and investigate further. Your intake of potassium or salt can have an effect on your inner ear as well. There are other things that can cause dizziness besides your inner ear so let your docs know.
