so i've been having a few problems with my vest that im just starting to get fed up with...
first of all, my chest and stomach get so red from the irritation (especially in the winter with the dry skin).

then, my arms get the circulation cut off... so i know im wearing it wrong. but don't know what to change about the fit.

does anybody have any suggestions to fix either of these problems? thanks.

Does yours have the velcro up at the top where the shoulders are?

I adjust mine because of the issue around the arms. I know it doesnt get high up, but it works for me.

As to the irritation. Layers &/or adjust the settings enough that you get the benefit of the treatment, but hopefully ease the irritation!

I have pretty much the same problems as far as getting itchy, red, and sweaty when doing the vest. I often change out of whatever I was wearing and into a soft tshirt that isn't too fitted. If it's too cold for a tshirt, I throw a blanket over my lap until I warm up, which I pretty much always do. If you can turn the heat down in whatever room you're in that helps, but I know it isn't a possiblity in most houses. Just no matter how hot you get, don't wear a tank top or anything else that shows a lot of skin. That'll just make things worse. Lathering up with lotion after makes the redness go away faster, I think.

Are you wearing a half vest (like a tube top)or a full vest? When I'm in the hospital they have me use a half vest and it causes a lot less irritation, but I don't feel like it does as good a job. Some people like them better, though, so if you can get your hands on one to try it out, you might want to. Also, have you grown since getting your vest? You might need the next size up.
