Vest question

Ok, so I have looked into Warwick's suggestions about the pressure and frequencies and have decided that I want to give those a try. I just got the Vest so I have been doing a pressure of 2 with 10HZ for 10 minutes and then a pressure of 3 with 14HZ just to get used to it.

Right when I was about to start the Warwick way, the Hilrom nurse called me and left a message saying that I should in no way go above a 4 pressure and even suggested I stay on 2 for the whole thing.

I can't get ahold of anyone there now. I have the little chest vest. Can I still do the Warwick reccommendations with it? The hilrom people have scared me!

Thanks!

I have to say I am concerned about this HillRom Nurse saying this. I have the old, original Hillrom & I have gone as high as 8 on my pressure when I can tolerate it. I dont always tolerate it that high, but I will say that have it as low as they told you would be totally useless for me. I would work with Warwicks #'s and adjust them according to what works for you. I really do ?? what that Nurse said UGGGG! Maybe the different models work differently enough that certain things are different so please keep that in mind when I mention what I use my vest on.

My suggestion: go with the suggestions from the man who invented the thing..... he knows the machine best.

Unless you have the HillRom 105.... then Warwick didn't invent that sucker, nor does he have recommendations about the machine to the best of my knowledge.

Honestly I was so sick when I went to the doctor that I was desperate to get what I could. My nurse said that this was the newest one and the one that they give all their patients. I knew that I should look into it but I felt so sick that I just wanted something. I have this one for a 30 day trial so maybe I will ask to switch at the end.

I like this one but would like one that Warwick is familar with.

Great news that it's just a trial.

check out www.respirtech.com if you want to see Warwick's newest Vest that he invented
