Vest?

This is what happens when you're sleep deprived and have been using a different vest with only one setting (the inCourage Vest) for 6 months.

LouLou and Debi, you are 100% correct. Apparently it only took a few months for me to completely forget what I wrote in my own blog and what I used to do on my old machine.

Please accept my deepest apologies for the confusion. I was totaly wrong and you guys have been doing it correctly all along.

Whew, I am glad to see the new post. I saw the one saying it only needed one pressure so I read and re-read the blog 3 times and just came back here to post a ? to Amy.

Thanks for the clarification and I find your letters with Dr thus far very interesting. My doc is VERY different from him.

When I use the full vest, I can't stand anything above pressure 1. I can do pressure 2 on the "chest" vest, but otherwise, 1 squishes me enough. I don't wear the full too often cause it beats the crap out of my kidney area and I get really sore. the chest vest is enough to keep me managed for day to day. if I feel like i'm coming down and getting congested, i'll switch back and forth between the two and find a balance. I hover around 15-17 on the frequency, with either vest.

Sakasuska-I read about measuring your chest circumference and then adding 10% to that and it shoudl be the measurement around of the vest.

?Is that the inside diameter of the vest when blown up or the diameter when not blown up?

I am working on adjusting my pressure and such will let you all know how that goes

Ok if you have the chest vest what is it like and what is your opinion in difference between the two ifyou have used both?

I had a new vest sent to me as I needed a bigger size (it is my opinion I shoudl have had a medium anyway now that I read how they are supposed to fit but now that I am nursing my DD I had to have medium) and I had them send me full vest again because when she asked I had no idea what otehr one was.

I am now trying to adjust pressures and thinking wow I can handle highest pressure no problem and I luckily looked down and got a blast of air in face--the darn thing has a hole in it and I can't quiet locate it but it is definately there!

I am curiouse if I should get full again or a chest - can someone explain difference please?
