I use the Vest 104.
My settings that I concluded upon from Amy/Warwick's advice are below. Between the 5 min. settings I huff cough 5 times and aim to produce 3 TBSP- 1/4 c. of mucus in my cup with each 30 min. pt session. This method I learned from Scarlett81/St. Vincents. My doctor thinks all these setting changes are useless but my FEV1 increase in the last 6 months is enough confirmation to me that I must be doing something right.

5 min. - frequency 6 - pressure 8
5 min. - frequency 8 - pressure 7
5 min. - frequency 9 - pressure 7
5 min. - frequency 14 - pressure 6
5 min. - frequency 18 - pressure 5
5 min. - frequency 19 - pressure 5

And Nicole, yes, there are different Vest companies. Some produce HFCC machines that are superior to others. Thank you I have found how to get to the archived posts on your blog (which I have found very informative btw) and I have copied and pasted the entire warwick info into a word document so I can read through it in detail.

Thank you

Amy, I think LouLou and I are completely misunderstanding your blog because I've been doing the same thing. In the blog you refer to a sliding scale and have examples that say things like pressure 7 for frequency 6 and then move it to pressure 5 for frequencies 16,17 and 18 (the numbers may be wrong - I can't figure out how to copy form the blog to here). Anyway, I interpreted that to mean you change the pressure for different frequencies. Will you please clarify this for us? Thanks.

This is what happens when you're sleep deprived and have been using a different vest with only one setting (the inCourage Vest) for 6 months.

LouLou and Debi, you are 100% correct. Apparently it only took a few months for me to completely forget what I wrote in my own blog and what I used to do on my old machine.

Please accept my deepest apologies for the confusion. I was totaly wrong and you guys have been doing it correctly all along.
