I do not have a port but when I get my picc lines it seems near my heart it is sore when I do my vest. I put a towel under the vest. A nice thick one and it seems to lessen the vibration in that area. Hope that helps! Good luck!!!!

hey I have one of those serta stuffed sheeps, and I though he was only for decoration!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I went to the kitchen, grabbed a measurign cup and inverted it over the port-wala! Much better of course it is a bit hard so I will look into soemthing a bit softer.

What makes it worse as I can access my port with a 1/2inch needle that fits perfect but it is just a bit too shallow to reliably use since sometimes I will have to wiggle it down further to get it to flow so I have to use 3/4'' which sticks out sooo far. Using the cotton and anchoring with steri strips is helping.
