vetiver oil

hey ive been using orenano oil now in my neb for about 3 weeks, went to the doctor last week, did a spit test and my psudemonus is completely gone. This stuff is so amazing. Anyway i was doing some research today on oils and came across vetiver oil which has been shown to inhibit staph at very low amounts used. I just want to bring this up to tell everyone.

and how many years had you been culturing PA? is it the mudoidal version or non-mucoidal version taht you usually culture?

Sounds so great to hear that! I have heard of a few others who were pseudomonas free after using the oregano oil for a while also. And yes this substance isn't just amazing due to its antimicrobial properties (pseudomonas in particular), but it's also amazing for arthritis. It kicked the crap out of my gout, and I have yet to have another flare up, even after a couple nights back to back drinking. So good to hear, help spread the word to other cystics, and hopefully they will have the same results.

Cool i'll look into it. Many essential oils are nothing short of amazing, in what they can do for the human body, and especially those who are sick already. I wish this country and others took an approach like Germany has taken, and rely on herbal and essential oil based treatments for many ailments before turning to antibiotics. Sadly due to our overreliance on antibiotics as a first line of defense against illness, we will HAVE to start using essential oils to treat anything, due to how most bugs are becoming resistant extremely fast due to us over perscribing antibiotics.

hey i started the post but wasnt logged in but i have cultured PA for a little over a year. i think that is why it dissapeared so quickly, i think the next thing to go will be the candida(2 years), then the staph which has been for the 21 years ive been alive. i currently neb 5 drops of normal strenth oregano oil 3x daily, im going to get a hold on some vetiver oil for my staph and some red thyme oil for my candida.
