I seem to recall, too that the powder can be kinda messy. That in the past parents who used it would have issues from inhaling the powder. Something I heard in passing lonng long ago when DS was first diagnosed.

I know this was a question about the powder, but since I also had meconium ileus and adhesions, I thought I would just let you know that I take the Viokase tablet, and it works the best for me out of all the enzymes I've tried (I think I have tried them all). It's the only one that takes care of the fat absorbtion issue, without causing constipation/bulky stools. You may have to try several before you find one that is "just right" for your daughter, since digestion issues vary greatly from cfer to cfer <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I have just had and still do have so much trouble feeding Mariah. Everytime I would ask her dietician, she just says maybe she needs OT/PT which we are working with. She just hates the pills and I told her this but she just doensn't understand.

To AnD- So when you are noticing that you need more enzymes, you fluctuate between bulky stools and constipation? Because Mariah has been doing this for almost a month and they just tell me she is maxed out on both her Prevacid and her enzymes. And she doesn't seem to think that constipation can be from a lack of enzymes. I don't know. Sigh..
