Visit to North Carolina and Virginia

So, I was off to NC and VA for a week for a couple of reasons and I had an awesome time. I went to NC to meet an Aunt for the first time that my Mom and her sisters just found last year. My Aunt lives in Kill Devil Hills and when I looked it up on a map, I saw that it was right next to Nags Head! I knew that my Aunt would want to go to church on Sunday and wouldn't know what church to go to, but of course I knew of a church to go to and there was a plus....I would possibly get to meet Nathan and Tricia Lawrenson. I took the chance and stopped into the church on Saturday to see when worship times were and I actually got to talk to Nathan! I told him how I knew of the church and why I was in town and then went to his church the next morning for services. I talked to Nathan and his Dad after worship and got a picture with them. They were both so sweet and welcoming!!

Tricia and the baby were not there because they were out of town but I was just glad to meet Nathan and let him know that he is helping so many people with his blog. It's nice to know that we are not the only ones out there who deal with CF and all of it's complications. I'm glad that I had the courage to introduce myself and that I got to talk to them.

secondly, WOW! Cool trip! And, meeting Nate and Rick must have been awesome. Nate is a celebrity in his own right. I'm glad it worked out for you!
