I get a prescription from my Dr. For Mephyton ( Vit K) I take 5 mg. in the morning and 10 mg. at bedtime.
I dont think the Vit.K you can get at a health food store is nearly enough. Mcg. means micrograms which is not nearly what an Mg. milligram is.
I dont recall how many Mcg.s equal a Mg. but it is a lot from what i remember. HOpefully someone on here will know.
Can you maybe ask your Doc for a prescription for Vit K. ?

I also get a scrip for Mephyton (vit K) from my doctor & they are 5 mg tablets, but I take 2 twice a day.

If am really achy & I need ibuprofen then I also take the Vitamin K when I take the pain reliever.

It is obvious now I was directed towards the wrong stuff. :-( Back to the ole' drawing board. Unfortunately, I don't currently have a doctor so....no fancy prescription for me right now for the high dose stuff.

The low dose I have been taking is working to a degree... starting to relieve the bruising issues and the cough up blood. Thanks for the heads up on the higher dose stuff.
