Hi all! This is going to sound kinda weird, but does anyone else feel like they get "stomach viruses" much much much more often than other people. I have been sick for the last 5 days with an upset stomach. I have thrown up 4 times. I am getting kind of concerned that it has lasted this long, but I am not having any other problems. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks! Mar

My daughter has an upset stomach almost every day. It was really bad last summer. The hot weather does make it worse. Last July she ended up in the hospital with dehydration. She was in for 5 days. They even did an endoscopy to see if they could find the cause, they couldn't find any reasons. Just last week she was nauseated all week and vomitted some. She is better for now. Her tummy is upset every morning after all the treatments too. I have too wondered if this a cf thing?

my doctor told me about that little thing [no idea how it's called in english] that stops food from coming up when you're full. like, it closes your stomach so that food doesn't come up. she said in people with cf it sometimes is weaker because of all digestion problems and also that a lot of coughing can make you throw up [it hapened to me a lot]. she said there's medication to help you with that thing.

Years ago i suffered from stomach aches everyday also, and was tested for an ulcer more than once and of coarse , everything looked fine. The doctor decided to treat it as though it were gerd ( with Prilosec) and it worked like a charm. I am now on Prevacid, which is working great. I have finally been diagnosed as having gerd. I used to always have heartburn, and general discomfort in my abdomen. If i forget to take my prevacid for even one day, the heartburn returns within a day. I am happy to say the stomach pains are now gone<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> ~ Diane
