washing out the lungs

From what I understand...i will be put under for a little bit and then I will have a bron..scope inserted and he will was my lungs and suck out mucus...

OH OK......many people have bronchs done, but its usually for a particular area &/or if there is unexplained issues that they feel the bronchs will reveal.

I dont know of anyone doing it for all of the lungs. I dont even know enough about the procedure to know if this is possible, but those more familiar will speak up.
