water fountains

I've been training my son Aidan almost 4 years old that he is NEVER to use one. I don't let him go near them although he is very curious about them. At his preschool, they also know he is not to use them- bottled water only. Water fountains are just disgusting.

Yes, they are absolutely disgusting. The only time I use them is if my blood sugar is high and I am DYING for some cold water.

I live in Wyoming and a our university fountains literally have signs that say 'Please don't spit chew in the fountains'. Ew, cowboys.

Nasty! I carry water everywhere with me. I'd have to be terribly hard up to drink from a fountain.

I'm the same way about using public pens. I always whip out my own because I can almost SEE all of the germs from the previous handlers. And I always use hand sanitizer after handling money...just my other germ phobics!
