I would finally forgive my husbands family for not telling us they were all carriers until after Bennett was dx. I will probably never get over that. Oh yes, then I would kiss and hug both my boys and tell them everything will be alright (and actually believe it....)... great question to think about.....

Paula - they knew they were carriers before you and your husband conceived, and didn't bother to tell you?

Yes, three of my husbands first cousins all tested positive as carriers. They say they told us but they didn't. I love my Bennett all the same but wish he didn't have to go through this. BUT you are all such wonderful people and I know he will be ok! I worry more sometimes about his big brother than I do about him. I think that is normal. ok .. I am way off topic... thanks! Paula
