i don't know how much people normally fluctuate in weight, but do any of you think that your weight fluctuates more than you would expect? by how much does it fluctuate? recently, i am anywhere between 133 and 137 at the gym. i know in the past there have been bigger differences than this though.

When I drink more liquids in a day I will weigh more. Every scale is slightly different. What I weigh in my home is three pounds less than when I go for my checkups. Depending on the time of the day etc.. I like to stick to my weight on one scale.

I just look at my stomach and if it is flat then I know that is my real weight. I average between two and three pounds difference on some days. I weigh 137 too

I fluctuate between about 3 pounds. That being said - your true weight is first thing in the morning, naked, after you've gone to the washroom.

I think every ones weight fluctuates, its almost never the same for me and I always weigh less at the doctors that I do at home. I'm about 96 pound at the dr's office and at home I'm 98 pound on a good day that is, but my weight seems to fluctuate between 93 and 100 pounds. I know I'm skinny, I just seem to never be able to put any weight on lately, I'm sure you all have that same problem as I do, right!!!

My weight doesn't seem to fluctuate as much as I like it to. I was probably underweight until a little over a year ago. I had weighed an average of 160 lbs, but am 5 ft. 10 in. Looking at my photos then, my cheeks seemed pretty boney. After my divorce, and eating more, and of what I liked, my weight shot up pretty fast, and finally leveled off at 176 lbs., a weight I was at 13 years ago, before coming to Japan. I still kind of wonder if I'm actually overweight, or had returned to my natural weight, after so long. I've been eating better, so my stomach problems had decreased, and I also am sure to weigh myself in the same method you guys do. I usually try to weigh myself in the am, but on occasion, do it in the pm. I have one of those scales that measures the body fat percentage, but that is not 100% accurate. It depends on the hydration of the body, so I take the average of what it says, which would be around 25%.
Oh, the measurement in Japan is metric, so I did you guys a favor by doing the calculations in my head for the conversions!

I try to weigh myself around the times that my doctors appointments would be & the time I would be weighed there. My poop does make a HUGE difference in my weight. So I also like to be weighed AFTER a good dump so my weight is true & not full of sh--! Yes PUN intended. I know scales also vary that is why unless I am admitted to the hospital I adjust my scale at home to read what the doctors said so I have a closer idea of what it will be each time I go in for a checkup!
