Weird Pain

I have noticed several times in the last couple months that I have had this pain across the front part of my ribs. I've noticed that it only happens when I take my Pulmozyme. I also take my vest at the same time. The pain starts out dull and progressively gets worse very quickly, and usually goes away after about 10 minutes. It's just very odd that it happens only when I take my Pulmozyme and my vest, and goes away so quickly, so I wondered if anyone else has ever had this. Thanks.

Marrisa, I'm sorry you are having problems. Have you tried to do the vest and pulmozyme separate, so you could see if it's the vest or the other?
Please let us know how you are doing. ..Karla

my guess is you have a rib out from coughing and the vest irritates this. It is a common problem I get but my pain from it is normally in my back. I see a chiropractor regularly and this and massage alleviates it.

Hi Marissa: I have had this pain a lot over the years. It is usually due to scar tissue from and rib fracture or at the least plurasy. Either way you should let your doctor know. My guess is it is just quincidence that the therapy vest and the pulmozyne trigger the pain not cause it. if you have a fracture or even hair line fracture you should probably ask your doctor to check it out.
good luck. Remember pain can be a gift letting us know something isn't right. Listen to your body!
