What age was your PI child potty-trained for #2?

My son is almost 4 and a half and yes he is still not fully potty-trained. He can go to the potty without accidents at times (BATHROOM) and then there will be days when he has diarrhea that give him a very sore butt and he reverts back to going in his pants. His butt can also be very red from -I guess- not always taking enzymes properly at day care. When he has a sore butt, the last thing he wants to do is sit on toilets. This is so frustrating and so painful for him :(.

Did your PI children were delayed being potty-trained?
And do they often get red rashes on their rear-end (like blisters sometimes)?

I give him Align, a probiotic to prevent constipation. Maybe I should try Miralax for a few days: does it make kids go potty right away? If so I could make sure he sits on the toilets soon after taking Miralax.

Thanks!

Well, my daughter doesnt have CF, but she did develop a rash similar to what you are describing because she was sensitive to dairy. We cut out the dairy and the scalding nasty rash went away. Hope you find a solution!
