What do you do with unopened good meds that you no longer need?

I have a 12 year old son with cf. He had been on Symbicort 160/4.5 and has now been taken off. I am always getting his meds ahead so if ever there is any insurance problems I will be stocked up on his meds. Anyway....I have 4 unopened boxes of Symbicort that I would like to give to someone. It would make me sick to just toss it. I also have 3 boxes of unopened skandishake that I don't want to see go to waste.

Is there anyone out there that could use these? I could mail them. I live in Michigan.

I take mine back into my clinic. They give them out as samples or to people with low income. I know there are disposal places at some hospitals, but I don't want them to go to waste if they're not expired.
