Basically everything about CF I've learned from this site. I talked to a parent of someone with cf the other day and they were like "You sound like a doctor." Well, learned it all here.

I've learned that:

1. There are so many presentations and complications of CF that it's hard to connect with some people just on the basis of CF alone.

2. eFlow is a God-send. 'nuff said.

3. My experience here is what I choose to make of it.

4. A little empathy goes a long way.

5. The more I learn about CF and how my different medications work, the more motivated I am to be compliant.

I can't list all of the stuff this site has taught me...The biggest thing for me (I know it might sound silly) was when I went in for my first tune up. I got support from so many...it was wonderful. I have also learned a bit more about lung transplants...B Cepicia...

Stuff that I didn't pay to much attention to before I came here. My dr used to try to tell me...and I'd just nod like I understood. The truth is I didn't want to.

I have been given the opportunity to see/hear/read from people who are like me....

I posted already, but thought of something to add. I would never have known about <b>probiotics</b> if it weren't for this site. This knowledge seems to be helping Emily immensely!
