What to do when the call comes....

We got the call at 0200. Since we had a 130 mile drive to get to UMC Tucson, we just jumped in the truck & split. I drove.
My Wife didn't even have a bag packed, even though she had ample warning.
I guess I'd do it the same way if we had to do it all over again. I guess the only change I would make is I would have nagged my Wife a lot more to prep a bag. She sure would have been more comfortable if she had. As it was, she had to wait for family to bring her down some clothes, etc.
BTW- I was never forced to shave anywhere pre-trans.
