Hi Sonia,

After my dx 12 yrs and i learned about some of the c/f bugs and i had the fear of hearing those words one day.. Well that day came last feb. that i have Myco Bacterium abscesses ..

I was totally freaked out about it. Spoke to some ppl here that helped to ease those fears a little and spoke over and over to my drs. about it.

Like Juliet's second time around w/ her MAC (hers and mine are different) it is showing rare, so drs. are holding off since the treatment is harsh and my kidneys took a big hit from Tobramycin..

I had a hard time w/ the drs decision that they wouldnt treat it yet, due to what i had heare/read about being aggressive .

I had to and still have to be reassured by my drs and have faith in them that this is the best decision for now..

They are keeping a close eye on it and we have been discussing the plan of action that will be taken when the time comes..

It is scary for sure and w/ your hubby away it's got to be hard not to have his support there for you..

I just want to say hang in there.. PM me anytime if you want to talk ..
