When on IVS do you still do coliston?

When on ivs for two weeks do you still do your inhaled coliston and aztreonam lysine? I am going in for a tuneup tomororw and I know that tobi is a no no but didn't know about coliston and aztreonam..

I am not on Colistin routinely and am pretty much only on it when I am sick and on IV's. So, I would def. ask your doctor, but as long as you aren't on IV Colistin, I think doing your Colistin neb is okay.

My doc takes me off of every antibiotic when I'm on i.v.s. The only thing she still has me take is the Zithromax. No Colistin, Tobi, Bactrim... etc.

I take Colistin all the time even if I'm on IV's and in the hospital. So far I have not done IV's at the same time as Aztreonam but I would think it would be fine as long as you aren't getting it in IV form too. Always ask the docs to be on the safe side though.
