Which Doctor?

I know there are a lot of people on these boards who had sweat tests below 40 but does anyone know how common that is among all CF patients? Is it 10%, 5%. Just trying to get an idea of how likely it is that she has CF with a sweat test below 40 and a negative CF genetic screen. I do recognize it is definitely possible that she has it but all of our doctors seem to think I'm crazy for even giving it a second thought.

My sweat test results from 2006 were 40 and 47 (2 arms). My sweat test in the 1980s was 53. I wasn't DXd with CF until I was 43, in March of this year, and only as a result of a full panel genetic test by Ambry. Not because of my sweat tests. I think sweat tests can give a false negative, but rarely give a false positive. ~Juliet
