Which Vest????

My son has an appt. today and I am going to request a vest for him. He will be 3 years old in December. Which vest should I request? I thought about the one designed by Dr. Warwick. Just wanted to get some different opinions. Thanks

Amy,
There was no message......and I am really interested in your opinion. How do you like your new vest? And if I request the Incourage do you think my doctor will know enough about it to be able to instruct us on the proper usage of it?
Thanks
Carrie

having sign in issues.

well, to be technically correct, Warwick designed both the HillRom and the Inspire Vests.

But I think you are refering to the Inspire Vest.

I haven't used it yet because I am waiting to get trained on it... but I'm betting on the fact that it is better than the HillRom Vest.

If you have questions about its use, you can always call Warwick and his nurses can relay proper use to you. He's amazing like that.

Let me know what you decide.

Amy, go ahead and use the vest....it is very easy. If you call Respritech they will walk you through how to fit the vest properly and then you just press the quick start button. It starts at 50% power and you just press the up button until you get it at the desired power....very simple to use.

Since this is the only vest that we have had, I am curious to know how you think the systems compare.

Come on Amy....do it...do it....do it.......

BTW I hope you are rock your test...I'll say a little prayer for you right now!

Lynda, I believe you are correct, it must be a sales rep. This same exact post is on several threads in the family section....Every thread that mentions the vest this info is on. lol

We have the Respritech vest and the vest straps are not complicated at all. Basically you fit the vest snug using 3 straps around the chest, the shoulders use velcro. Once its snug, you release velcro strips, which are on the 3 straps so it loosens it to provide the space needed for proper inflation.

Okay, it may sound complicated but when you are doing it, it is very easy...lol!

lol...the vest looks like a swat issued bullet proof vest...yeah, but last time I checked we weren't putting on a fashion show during treatment....lol
