ha, i did the same thing when i was younger, i found a bunch of jack rabbit babies in the yard and wanted to keep them, well, mom said NO! heck i think it was more along the lines of heck no, anyways rabbit moms will leave their babies in a safe place and go find food or whatever, the mom rabbit might leave them there for a few hours even, but she'll come back, how long have you had these rabbits? if you don't want them there may still be a way out. what kind of rabbits are these? if they're jacks they're gonna get big, about 25 pounds. they're still wild so you have to worry about, are they gonna get big and be a problem then? jack rabbits can be agressive, when they get big they can kick like a kangaroo too, i've seen a big one beat the crap out of small coyote. you have to worry if you're biting off more than you can chew. as far as cf goes i don't think there is any problems

We found a nest several years back. We raised them just fine and then released them when they were feeding on grass.
I also had a pet rabbit years after that, and after reading the posts, I think he had Snuffles. He had to go to the vet and be on meds for his whole life. He was AWESOME though. He'd jump in the bathtub with me and he'd eat spaghetti like it was going out of style. He was so cool.
Good luck with the babies....if you do keep them. And make sure you go to a pet store to get the proper nutrician for the babies. Some things will make them sick.

I am raising a pheasant in my house ( hatched her from an egg) so with me, anything goes............ I have a room full of lizards ( big and small) 2 cats, fish ........this that and the next thing.
I had baby bunnies a few years ago ( the mom was killed) and my doctor didnt say anything about them being bad for cf. In fact my doctor didnt say anything about my pheasant either. Bunnies are cute ,but when they get big then can deliver a nasty bite. Just make sure to warn your kids to be gentle with the bunnies and that they can bite when they get bigger.

i had a snake once, found him in the yard and kept him in my room for about 6 months feeding him grasshoppers and other bugs i found outside, he wasn't very big and i kept him a little cage that i had, then my mom found him and completely freaked out, it was just a garden snake my mom made me let him go. since then i've brought around several bull snakes and let them loose in the yard cause they eat other snakes like rattlesnakes and copperheads, but beware they look like velvet tail and you better be sure before you go picking it up
