Woke up this morning coughing up blood...

Hi Adams Survivor,

There was another coughing blood thread the other day that I posted on.. Have you had an increased amount of Vitamin C or anything else that could cause this?<br> Beyond that, I don't have much to add the others haven't already said. I just want to say that it is a scary thing to happen and my heart goes out to you. I hope that you and your doctor get it figured out, and hopefully this won't happen again ever or for a very long time.

I also have probs with hemoptysis and have for about 9 years or so.

If this is your first time having pure red blood I would contact your Dr and just let them know. Even if they decided to wait for any treatment at least they would be aware of what is going on with you.
Once you are used to having hemoptysis then you will know when to say something or not.
I know its easier said than done but try to relax. Stress cn also make it worse.
May I ask how old you are? Mine started when I was 20 -21 yrs old. So ai am just curious.
