women-have ivs messed up your cycle??

I got my period back at 13.5 months. Nursing affects each person's fertility differently. Has she slowed down on the nursing lately? Sleeping more at night? Do you give formula? (can't remember). The average for exclusive breastfeeding is 14 months - so some people will naturally see a return earlier, and some later. All normal. And it may not be a period - may just be some spotting.

I, too, expected a year with no period during breastfeeding. I got 7 weeks. yup. you heard me. 7 mo'fo' weeks! NO FAIR! I don't kow about IVs, but it isn't too uncommon that you might have your period back. stinks tho, huh?
