women with hemoptysis around periods......

My doc is aware of this but believes you have to have hemoptysis about every month not just that when you have it you are PMS'ing. Mine is usually related.

When doing IVF (high hormone times) I had a bleed despite being on IV's two weeks prior and excellent PFT's completely clear. During pregnancy no bleeding and same goes for lacatation. I even had pneumonia a couple months back with no bleeding though I did have a few streaks but no 'bleed'. I think 95+% of mine is hormone related.

What is this L-lysine?

L-Lysine is a supplement. I heard about it a few years ago from a woman whos son with cf was tasking it for his bleeds and his bleeds almost disappeared. After my second embolization i decided to try it and it has helped. Here are some links about it.... Only one article states that it helps to keep the blood vessels strong but i cant seem to find it and dont want to read all thru them again since i am already late for work...............
