Hi, ya'll!

I'm just thinking after discussing the patient prescribing info. for pulmozyme on another topic maybe a link to prescribing info on various meds would be helpful??? For example, most med we are on have a website that gives the prescribing and clinical info. that we can also find in our medication boxes.

However, usually, I read them once and throw them out. So, I'm thinking maybe it would be neat to have a link to their links on here for reference when we need to look something up.

For example, I just posted a link to Pulmozyme on the other thread. So, on the link, I would just post its link under "pulmozyme". And this is what people would see: http://www.gene.com/gene/produ...c/pulmozyme/insert.jsp

No comments or threads or topics of any kind. Just a place for links to prescribing information from their respective companies. That way, when a thread with a question on a med comes up, we can also refer each other to that "link". The same can be done for all our enzymes, insulin, antidepressants, etc. Basically, if someone is on the med, they can find the link to the info. and post it for their own easy reference as well as to help others out.

Gosh, I hope this makes sense. I think I got a little wordy. Anyway, what do ya'll think? Would this be helpful???

That could be put on the wiki, which is pretty much just sitting there at the moment (could be so much better but oh well).

Lmao, that was subtle...

Why don't you address the issues that you aren't happy with, post them and come up with some solutions?...or take an active role in developing the info in wiki?

Probably because I've addressed them before and gotten no response from the admins regarding the wiki?
And it wasn't meant to be subtle.

There's an place on here that people can edit information on regarding the disease but I think from the start about 3 people total have edited it at all. Which I think is sad because it could be such a great resource, available and open to everybody and practically nobody on the site knows about it.

I will bring your concerns to the the conference in Denver this week. I will be meeting with representatives from the different Pharmas concerning education here at the site. I'll let you know how it goes. Candice, we did install the Wiki programming..how are you suggesting we get people involved with it? I know you have been so helpful.

Thanks,
Jeanne
