Xopenex Inhaler vs. Nebulizer

I talked to our head respirtory therapist last year at our CF hospital and she said that the most recent studies showed that the Inhaler with spacer is just as effective as the nebulizer (we use albuterol though...they didn't have the xopenex inhaler at the time). My ds is 6 and we only use the inhaler with spacer now.
