Yeast/Fungus in lungs?

I see people posting about yeast or fungus in their lungs-I haven't had this happen to me yet. I am wondering what it is caused by?

I jsut started inhaled Tobi and am wondering if it is brought on by that? I know that antibiotics get ALL of the bacteria out of your system-good and bad. As a result we get yeast infections (I get them in my throat-fun!).

So by inhaling Tobi into my lngs, am I getting rid of all of the bacteria allowing yeast/fungus to grow? Could I possibly be at risk for acquiring yeast/fungus in my lungs as I am now inhaling antibiotics directly into the lungs?

I take acidophilous daily (more when I am on antibiotics) but I am thinking this won't go to my lungs.
