The CF doctor says it's likely due to extended antibiotic use, but is not treating it. We're seeing a naturopathic doctor as well who has given us a natural anti-yeast medication. After 6 weeks of that, the sputum culture still shows yeast. Any suggestions?
Whenever I have thrush in my mouth from antibiotics I use Nystatin, which is a prescription medication. Maybe if it remains a problem, ask your doctor about it?
