I feel for the little one because my zithro and cippro both make me nauseated. They don't seem to bother my 4 year old, but horrible on me.

my DH's doctor changed his Zithromax perscription to Clartithromycin a generic within the same family and he hasn't had any nausea since. I know it's not right for everyone, but it's something that could be looked into!

Thanks for all the suggestions. He is on a generic of zithromax -- azyithromycin (sp). Gave him it to him again last evening before bed again, with no issues. Just don't want to get too confident <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Seems that for the most part -- on the 4 or so days he's vomited, it's been really warm and he's sweated quited a bit. His baseball cap is resembling a salt lick. So I think that's probably a factor even though he gets salt, salty snacks and water. He's probably not hungry enough -- doesn't have enough in his stomach when the meds hit. My other option was going to give him his zithromax after supper. He usually gets it with a snack 30-60 mintues before supper.

No matter when or what I eat I know that it is going to make me sick to my stomach. I haven't found anything that helps.
