Is this what zithro does also helping with inflammation? My doc is recommending me to use this 3x/week. He said it does help inflammation wise and also will help keep the pseudo growth down.

My doc has me on Zithro 3x a week. It helps reduce inflammation and irritation to the lungs, resulting in less exacerbations. It doesn't prevent or treat Pseudo.

Zithromax is given more to help with inflamation, however, there have been studies done which show that it does interfere with the outer wall of PA.

Great link. I have been looking for that info forever.

Zithro has been shown to destroy PA biofilm.

Good info <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I was on Zithromax for one year and it did cut down on my pseudo growth. I am a transplant patient so it is not the same but I did like the drug.
