I take it three times a day and have for about 3 years I think. My lung function has stayed completely stable (at 53%) for all that time and they think it is because of the zithromax because I was never like that before

I take it three times a week (every other day), and have since december 2002 as well. I havent noticed much from, it just take it to have some kind of antibiotic to take. I do not want to be on nothing. I dont know, maybe it has helped a little without my really noticing....

I take 500 mg, 3 times a week. I have been doing this for years now. I don't know if it helps or not, I don't really knopw if any of my meds really help! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Brady who is 4 takes this 3 times a week, and is to be on it for a total of 7 months. What exactly is it for?

Step mom to Brittany 13 no cf
Mom to Tyler 12 no cf, cf carrier
Mom to Brady 4 with cf (5 in March!)
Mom to Taylor, 3 no cf, but chromosome 9q 21.2 q 22.1 deletion

I take zithromax 3x a week as well.

I've heard CFers take it in order to prevent lung inflammation...not 100% sure though.
