MRSA - Methicillin Resistant Steph Aureus.

Zyvox is used for MRSA <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

That's awful that the insurance co won't pay for the zyvox. I would fight that if it was me, let them know that 14 days of zyvox is cheaper than a hospital admission and IV anti's. Sorry the subject but that irks me!

My kids were on oral Zyvox for several months. They both got neuropathy in their feet/legs so the docs stopped it.
