CFF has never had all of its eggs in one basket. There has always been a multi faceted approach on several different avenues. I wouldn't read this as giving up on VX806.

I am male 71 w/o children but I am 100% convinced that my dad had CF (not just a carrier). So much of my current condition (with treatment) is similar to his condition, w/o dx or CF treatment. He was hospitalized several times with a dx of TB.
He had four children so it is possible.

Isn't that what I said? People who can't afford health care get "emergency care" free of charge. We are saying the same thing. If I get a service that I'm not required to pay for, its free (to me).
