The D508 drug (VX866) has just completed the second phase of a three phase trial. Hopefully it will be available for submission to the FDA by next summer.
When approved VX866 will be used in conjunction with VX770 to benefit those of us with DF508.

Contact your CF Center and if that dosen't work, I would contact Vertex directly. I know that in the US, some drugs have been used in emergency situations prior to final FDA approval.

770 is to CF as Insilin is to Diabetis. (I need a spell checker here). It is not a cure but rather a drug that "improves" your condition.
