I personally know nothing about the lung donor program, but my question is are they changing the rules now so children have a better chance, or is this a one time thing? I have been reading the articles here and there about the child getting her new lungs.
I cut out milk, fast food, foods mainly with high saturated fat and switched my fat mostly to monounsaturated fat like avocados. Helped so much with the gas, better then enzymes. The problem is the fat is hard to digest for normal people like a greasy hamburger, makes it even harder on us...
"knowitall" thinks he knows everything, and "thinks" that his opinions are superior above all others. His comments make me laugh, all you can do is pity him. So sick of reading your negative comments towards everything!
That kinda stuff never works for the long term. The secret to loosing weight is eating healthy and working out. Look into a nutribullet, make a fruit/veggie shake with every meal, add some protein (chicken, tofu) and a carb ( rice, faro). Cut out saturated and transfat, eat mosly monounsaturated...
I am similar to you also. I was dx at 15 for polyps in my nose and the nose doctor was the one who said I should get tested for CF. Parents had the test done twice because they did not believe I ha CF. Always been super healthy. I havnt seen the disease take much effect beside nose polyps and...
This made me cry, its amazing the amount of love you have for your wife. That's so awesome, shes so lucky to have you by her side and work hard to find a cure! Thanks for everything you do!!
I totally agree! I am waiting for the day it goes away forever, maybe when Im 50. Its not too bad right now but every once in awhile I will get a bad break out. I forgot to add that my periods are very regular. Maybe its not something with hormones, maybe its just CF.
I have also had the "3day cycle labs" and everything came back perfect. I started having acne at 17. It got really bad 19-23. Around 24 it started getting a little better. I am now 27 and I still have acne and still try everything not to break out. It has gotten a lot better and with good...
I feel your pain being in CA. It took me 6 month to find the job I have now. The last time I job searched was in 2006, and job searching in 2013 is crazy different. The job I have now, one woman (manager in a different department) didn't like me so called the shot to cut my schedule. I went to...
I have had 9 nasal surgeries on polyps. The first one when I was 14 was a little rough because I threw up blood also. If your nose is full of polyps, like mine was, your under longer so your feel a little more sick when you get out. I have had surgeries that I was completely fine and went back...
Hello, thank you for the advice. How do I find out if I have enough SSDI work credits? I have never looked into that but it would be good info to know. I have worked for the past 10 years straight. I really never not had a job, and I have never used unemployment. The jobs I have had were just...
The unaccredited thing is going to be difficult. Do you have a Bachelors in anything? That is really the only way of getting around the unaccredited school thing. That bugs me that they made it sound like it would be easy to find a full time job after school, so untrue. If you don't end up...
Where did you go to school at? Was the school accredited? It is so hard to get into the accredited schools around here. I am a cocktail waitress at a busy winery so I run around like crazy. I know I could do the ultrasound hours, but anything over 8 hour shift does make me run down. Yeah, that...
Yeah that's what I was thinking, the ultrasound sounds amazing because I like the medical field, but at the end of the day, it just isn't a good idea. I made a decision and I am going to go towards HR. I think I might have to get my masters to actually have a chance at a job, but that's ok. The...
I am almost done with my associates degree (went back to school later) and I need to figure out which direction to take for a career. I was thinking about going into medical sonographer (ultrasound tech) or getting a bachelors in human resource management. I live in CA and well if you don't have...
Is it joint pain in all your major joints? I get joint pain really bad when I am feeling run down, havnt slept well, or getting sick. I take an ibuprofen 800mg and also anti inflammatory foods such as turmeric, oranges, ginger ect. What also helps is airborne, that stuff you put in water and...
Make sure they keep heating blankets on you. Im assuming you are going in for polyp surgery. I have had 9 surgeries on my nose and the heating blankets really make a difference. If I am not warm enough during surgery, I get joint pain, and I wake up with a low immune system. The last surgery, I...
That is the same as me. I didn't have one lung problem until I was 18. That was the first time I got sick and coughed up blood. I think it has something to do with my genotype because it doesn't make sense how healthy I am but nothing ever happens. Thank you, I have hope, I feel like maybe when...
