When I first started using hypersal I didn't think I would ever get used to the burning in my throat , but it does get easier . For me it did. But like mamerth said when I get drainage or a cold I have to slack off because it just makes me cough till my throat is raw.

I take Zyrtec( I actually break them in half) and use flonase nasal spray . If it's that bad you may need something stronger. The pharmacist told me Zyrtec doesn't have quite as much antihistamine as the others . The antihistamines dry up my nasal stuff but also dry my lungs out pretty bad...

I always dread it too . To the point now where I cant really catch anything . My lung function is too low and the bacteria is resistant to all the antibitics. So it is very stressful. Mostly because people don't want to understand in my husband's family.
