I wanted to know if any of you know an excellent asthma specialist in the new york city area. The cf clinics can only do so much with severe asthma issues. Need to have someone who really understands asthma and all it's complications. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

MamaScarlett, I agree with you. Monday I was not feeling too great. Went running and it cleared out a lot of stuff. I improved since then, I think in part to the run. If you can exercise while not feeling great, it helps.
Kelliemarie, what makes you think that the bleeding was caused by the running? Did it happen just once or is it everytime after running? The bleeding could have been from something unrelated perhaps. It is great that you have the initiative to run.

I cultured MAC about 6 months ago once. Not since. I don't do the MWF maintenance Zithromax. But they have used Zithromax with me to treat flare-ups. They had done a CT scan and it showed that MAC was not causing me problems at the time. That info was used in my treatment course.
