i was told by my CF team that it's pretty common! i, myself, have only had them once and i hope it NEVER happens again!! that was some horrible pain! fortunately, it came on, passed and was gone all in one night, but that was one night of NO SLEEP i'll never get back...
yes, thank you for sharing and i'm very sorry for your loss. i cried when i read this because it's always heart-breaking to hear of another precious soul being taken to this disease! God bless your son, you and your family and all who knew and loved him.

i am going thru the insurance process to upgrade as well and i hope it works out! i would love to have a vest system that's more portable, thus allowing me to be even more independent!

i agree completely with your post! as we grow with CF, and continue to learn and understand ourselves, sometimes we actually end up knowing more than the doctors do about the disease and the way it may affect our own bodies (as each and every one of us w/ CF is different). so pay attention, take...
