I picked up our little CFer yesterday from our childcare provider (a family member). When I got there, our little guy was drinking out of one of the other kids cups. I grabbed it from him. I didn't really say anything because it gets tricky because it's family.

Just a side note on the vest (as my little CFer is about the same age as yours). We've been told that he wouldn't be able to use a vest until around 18 months or a little older. It has to do with being big enough to handle the vest. Our little one is 14 months and he's now just over 22 pounds...

Your post breaks my heart...and it's something that depending on the day, I could have written myself.
With everything that comes with CF, please don't get down on yourself. We're all doing the best we can and I'm certain you are too. Focus on the good things you're doing and take one minute at...

Is anyone using Duocal for their toddlers? We're struggling with increasing his volume and wondering if this is a possible option. He also has a milk allergy, so many of the easier options are off the table.
Just wondering if anyone has used this with toddlers.
Thank you!

That sounds like pretty normal stool for that age. If you're in the NICU, ask them, they'll know for sure and it will probably change some over the next couple of days.
As for enzymes, our little guy took the enzymes in applesauce, from a syringe starting at about 10 days old and we switched to...

We don't have short gut, but did have MI at birth, g-tube at 7 months which led to an additional diagnosis of eosinophilic esophagitus. I'm please to report that at his clinic appointment this week, at just under 14 months, he weighed in at 21 lbs and 13 ounces. He was only 14 pounds at 7...

We recently switched from Creon to Zenpep and his weight gain has slowed dramatically. The hope was that the switch would lessen his stomach bloating and possibly change his oral intake, but we haven't seen that.
Am debating switching back to Creon.
