There is an exercise section at this site, and I think it's a really great idea, but I don't think it's at its full potential. Just wondering what any of you think it could incporporate to help you with your exercise routines.
Here's the link if you didn't know it was there:

While watching the Oscar De La Hoya VS Mayweather fight last night, I couldn't help but think of this very story wrtitten by another CFer on this site, who passed away last year.

Hello,
This morning I woke up to a sharp pain just under my rib cage. It was sharp enough to cut my breathing off. It was a pain that I usually associate with lots of coughing and a muscle cramp or something. I didn't recall coughing last night at all. I guess it' was possible that I did...
Hi Amber,
I just noticed you posted and wanted to say WELCOME BACK, and congratulations on your new lungs!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO.
Hang in there with all the dialysis. You're taking this whole process one step at a time and staying as strong as humanly possible.
I was so happy to see that you...
Sometimes I hear people mention that they don't venture into other areas of this site and don't know about what else is offered here, so I thought I'd show one link below. This section has lots of great resources for books, articles, and other links relating to CF.

I've been visiting my baby niece, who's 3 months old. Today is the fourth day and this afternoon was the first time in a long time that I started to feel a sinus infection coming on. I'm so bummed! I feel congestion starting in my sinuses.
I asked my doc before coming out here if it was okay...
I've heard plenty of times before to change the neb between your meds. Pulmozyme and TOBI and HS all need their very own neb, right? I can say I don't do that, and yet think of it often and I know I'm "suppose to" do that.
I was reminded of this again in the recent thread: ...Hypertonic THEN...
Did any of you see the quick news update the other day, on Viagra as a way of potentially helping pulmonary fibrosis patients? I just can't help but think of the side effects! That's the weirdest thing.

I noticed in Allie's "I Game" in this section that you referenced a new job, etc. So I was just wondering if you found a new job? I remember you were looking for one a while ago. If you did how's it going? Hope it's a good place for you. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"...
Hello,
The topic has NOT come up with doctors yet regarding a transplant, but I find myself, for the first time ever, trying to decide whether to stay in Los Angeles or not based on when I might get a tx. My gut says don't go b/c I don't know what the next year looks like. My doctors are...
I had a port o cath placed about 6 months ago for the first time. I used it for 1 month, then stopped IVs and haven't used it since. I get it flushed 1x / month with saline and heparin. Last month it stopped working and my nurse was not able to flush it with saline. I've only had it for 6 months...
Anyone else have to cook for yourself (with CF) making sure you get enough calories etc, and for a spouce/bf/gf who needs a low fat, low cholesterol diet?
Any tips on mixing the efforts to make such opposite meals? I'm not a big "cook" at all, but I want to start helping my hubby so he eats...
This is off topic, but anyways...I the idea from Oprah's xmas show.
I'm getting in the xmas spirit now and had a thought about paying it forward for Christmas. Just wanted to share it with you all in case it's something you might want to do too.
I want to give a gift of maybe $20 to a kid and...
Does anyone understand why when you workout one day you might feel tons of energy from it, and the next day it drains you? Why does working out sometimes make you tired? My only thought is that it's due to the amount of o2 you're getting, but that doesn't seem like a good enough answer. Any...
What goes into treating hemoptysis? I've never had the pleasure of dealing with this and am curious if you're put into the hospital b/c of it, what exactly do they do while you're there? What can they do?
I understand if you need an embolization, but if you don't, what goes on in there...
Just curious about others and their dreams, or nightmares to be exact. Does anyone else have a history with nightmares? Dreams that wake you up, full of gore, etc? I've always had these types of dreams and I wondered if others with cf have it and this might be my subconcience freaking out. Ever...
