I used to live in Canyon Springs on 360. Also lived on Lamar Blvd. down by campus. Finally on Jollyville Rd. I love Austin and we can't wait to move back one day. We now live in CT.

I use 7% in a trio but I also am on Colistin (the medication that is used with a Trio) and also have the Altera for my Cayston prescription. The Trio is a lease situation with no option to buy. The Altera is loan as long as I'm taking Cayston. There are other ultrasonic nebs on the market. You...

After about a year with a port, I eventually wanted to learn how to access it myself so that I could do a complete home hospitalization independently of any nurse. I also can do the flushes when I feel like it. I don't care about the look of it on my chest. I think by the time a person needs a...

By the time I was diagnosed at 30 months I was battling chronic PA. I now have 3 strains. One that is mucoid. My non-mucoid ones are far more resistant and more difficult to treat. My son has never cultured PA.

I'm considering a change now that the rewards program isn't as good. Yep I'll sell myself out to the best rewards. Granted I am a pretty high functioning PI..only need 3 - 20s with meals.
The undercooked foods thing might not be just bacteria but also to minimize the risk of throwing up which either is impossible to do after a transplant or dangerous due to possible aspiration of the gastric contents. That brings me to something I read at some point on here... no oral sex due to...

just a side note did know vaginal reconstruction is one of the leading if not leading sectors of cosmetic surgery?!
I used the Hill Rom half or chest vest (not the wrap though) once it was too uncomfortable around the belly. I also did cardio exercise up until the week of delivery. You can see...
JP, If you've been doing your treatments and going to your clinic appts I wouldn't consider yourself in denial. We see people here who are either in denial because 1) their parents never told them they have cf or 2) they don't want to do their treatments and may be in denial about the...
I thought it was going to give more information from the CF Registry data. But now that I think about it perhaps that is a seperate project that is going to be available on the CFF site soon.

Okay I just re-read the site and read the scientific version which gave a more detailed answer and seemed to basically say what I figured. They assume that for people with S1235R that have true cf symptoms that S1235R is likely not the cause that there is a 2nd unknown mutation. But they also...

Interesting...it says my son's mutation S1235R does not cause cf. No where on the internet have I ever read this so I sort of wonder where they are getting this information. I'm not sure how they can say this when there are so many people out there that have this mutation (along with another...
