Its possible you may have just strained a muscle from coughing. Is there any over the counter pain reliever you can take that has worked? (I'm not sure what you can have seeing as you're pregnant) I recently had problems with lots of lung/rib pain but it turned out I had a bad exacerbation. Hope...
Not to be too mean but I'm gonna chime in on the hard side here. CF isn't something you can ignore and think you beat it, no matter how well you were doing before if you do nothing to take care of yourself you'll end up getting taken out by it a lot sooner than you should. I feel I can say this...

I know exactly how you feel, I use to be extremely active in marching band, softball, ice hockey in high school and when I went to college I got really sick and had to give everything up. Now I'm waiting for a lung transplant and can't even walk long distances without getting completely out of...

Have you tried proping yourself up on some pillows to sleep? I know for me certain positions make me cough more, or when I'm starting to get sick. Sometimes I have a lot of trouble with sinus drainage and that's always the worst cough to get rid of because it turns into a dry tickle in the back...

My heart rate is always high, usually 100-120 or higher when sick. My docs have never been too concered, they pass it off as being due to meds I'm on the my heart having to work harder with such low pfts. I've had several echo's done and they've all been fine, I had a right heart cath recently...

I don't know about singing personally but I can definitely say this works with playing an instrument. I was in band and marching band in jr high and high school and I had great pfts, when I graduated and stopped playing my pfts really started to drop

Edan sounds like you are talking about Intermates. That's what I get for home ivs too and it makes doing home ivs a piece of cake. As far as another oral med vs. ivs when I was that age they probably would have tried the oral but the docs seem to be much more aggressive in treatment now than...

I know its one of the things they check for during a transplant evaluation and I guess its fairly common with people with severe lung disease/low pfts. But if you're healthy enough to have a baby then you probably have nothing to worry about.
