Bethylove, I used to live in CO before moving to Chicago two years ago. I originally came from the east coast where I struggled with the humidity for most of my childhood. In CO, I could sleep with the windows open at night (something I could never do back east) and I thought my sinuses cleared...

    infant cough

Courtney, This used to happen when I was really young, before I was diagnosed and my mom used to splash water in my face b/c it would make me breathe in quickly. Worth a try! Hope all went well with your visit yesterday.

law against this?/husband unemployed/COBRA not an option

Ugh. What a headache. It doesn't seem right, although if his company is no longer paying into a group plan (cutting health care insurance) then COBRA wouldn't be available either. Have you talked with the social worker at your daughter's clinic? They might have some suggestions as to what your...

    Vitamin D not E!

Gunhild, Last time I had my blood drawn, my vitamin D was "okay" but not great, so they prescribed me 10,000 IU's once a week for four months to boost my levels. I also take ADEKs (specially made water soluble vitamins for CFers) every day, which should help to keep my vitamin D level up once...

    Advair diskus

I'm with Jessica, I tried Advair and while I thought the little purple device was pretty cool, it didn't seem very effective. I've switched to Symbicort and have been much happier with it.
