Our 12 year old Mason has major sinus issues. He was always a zero cough kid up until the past year. He has this cough for no reason, his lungs are always clear and he was diagnosed about 8 months ago with allergy related asthma. He plays soccer so we were given an albuterol inhaler to give him...

Our oldest CFer is now 12 years old and we were told from day 1 to do CPT 2 times daily. He was in the hospital for the first 2 1/2 months of his life and they did CPT 3 times daily. Once we got home it was ideal in the morning and then at night before bed. Mason used to be a zero cough kid...

I would just watch it, I know that his bleed quite a bit when it was taken out and it could be the vein that it was in was hurt when it was taken out. We have only had 1 PICC line so far, knock on wood but I would just give it a couple of days as long as it doesn't get worse.

I would probably call the docs and let them know. I know we have been told that if you give your child too many enzymes they can have a adverse effect. Has your child eaten anything different? The first thing I think of with greasy stools is that their aren't getting enzymes or they need maybe a...

The very first thing I do is to tell them NOT to go surfing on the internet. I have found that there is so much info on the internet, much which is out-dated and doesn't pertain to my children. I would maybe explain the basics but then explain how CF directly affects your child. You might...
